OSC closures for NEW EXHIBIT: Living in Space
The OSC is thrilled to announce the upcoming installation of its newest exhibit: Living in Space! The Living in Space exhibit, on loan from the Canadian Space Agency, will be hosted by the OSC from January 27th to mid-May, 2012. It is a highly interactive, bilingual exhibit that explores the technical, psychological, and physical challenges of life in space. Limited galleries will be open from January 17th – January 26th (including front room, sound gallery, and partial upstairs galleries). We will be closed January 27 to set up for our exciting member’s preview event. Living in Space will be open to everyone on Saturday, January 28th!

January 27! Special Members-Only Preview Night of Living in Space
Join us for an exclusive, members-only showing of the OSC’s newest travelling exhibit, Living in Space, on January 27th from 7:00 – 9:00pm. This is a family-friendly event which will include a dynamic Q&A with our space experts, a private tour of the new exhibit, and a rousing game of Space Jeopardy! This is just one of our ways to say thank you for being a member and for joining our efforts to explore and explain the world around us. We hope to see you here!

The Science in Society Speaker Series presents Bill St. Arnaud, Green IT Specialists and former Chief Research Officer at CANARIE.

Bill St. Arnaud, one of Canada's most prominent figures in the information and communication technologies, will explore fascinating topics such as zero carbon networks, cloud computing, server farms, electric roads, and how IT can be used to adapt to climate change.

Drop-In Science for Tots
Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9:30am to 10:30am
Watch for new dates coming in Spring!
Join us for some hands-on science programs designed for toddlers ages 3-5! Introduce your preschooler to science and share the wonder of learning. You supply the curiosity, and we’ll guide you through a new interactive exploration each session!
Adults are required to stay with the child(ren) in their care.
$5.00 per session per child (*Non-Members must pay regular admission for adult and child in addition to the regular program cost of $5 per person*)

Planetarium Shows at the OSC
