Multigenerational Innovations – Get involved!
The OSC is recruiting a planning team to kick-start an exciting project,
"Multigenerational Innovations", a program to ignite minds of all ages!
This program will bring together older adults to work together with teens to create animatronic and robotic exhibits for display at the centre. Workshops on healthy aging through volunteering, social engagement, and understanding Generation Y (aka teens) will be offered to the public as an introduction to the project. This program’s goal is to bring generations together to share their knowledge and skills, and engage today's youth in science.
We are looking for enthusiastic adults to assist us in all aspects of this innovative program. Interested volunteers can contact Paula at the Okanagan Science Centre at 250-545-3644 or by email at plambert@okscience.ca for more information.
Exhibits Committee Volunteers
As we head into 2010, the Okanagan Science Centre is looking into the future! We are seeking enthusiastic, creative volunteers to be a part of our exhibits committee. Your skills in everything from research and planning, to construction and painting will be an asset to developing our “Ancient Adventures” (working title) Gallery and maintenance of our Space for Space Galleries. Specific interest in archaeology, geology, palaeontology or space science would be a great fit for current projects.
For more information contact Paula at 250-545-3644 or plambert@okscience.ca

Schedule is flexible.
